A Tai Yai man named Uncle Kam got lucky buying leftover lottery tickets from a vendor at Mae Malai Market and won two first-prize tickets worth 12 million baht on September 16, 2025. According to a post by Wanleeya Wongsuwan, a lottery seller named Nong Phai had set up a stall near a building supplies shop close to Mae Malai Market in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai, and was selling four sets of remaining tickets with numbers 730640, 364931, 910424, and 774361. After Uncle Kam, a middle-aged Tai Yai man living in Mae Malai, came to buy tickets, Nong Kwun handed him one set with the number 730640. When the government lottery results were drawn, the first-prize number was 730640, making Uncle Kam an instant winner and transforming him from poverty to wealth overnight.
