Man Shoots At Car Over Stare In Chonburi
A man's car was shot at near his home in Chonburi after a neighbor took offense to his questioning of a stare, marking the second shooting incident between the two in recent weeks.
On July 10, 2569, Deputy Investigator Yuthana Phothsidi of Pattaya City Police, Khong Dong Taan branch, received a report of a civilian vehicle damaged by gunfire near Chom Thian Lane 2 in Nong Prueao subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi. Officers arrived to find 35-year-old Boy waiting by his white Honda City, pointing out bullet holes near the driver's door. No injuries or deaths were reported.
Upon questioning, Boy explained he lives in Chom Thian and has a dispute with a neighbor known only as O. The conflict arose when Boy reversed his car from his driveway and O gave him a stare. Boy asked what the look meant, leading to a brief argument. As Boy drove away, O's associates opened fire on his vehicle. Boy noted this was a second shooting attempt—O's men had previously fired at his home, but the gun jammed. CCTV captured the earlier incident. Police collected images and two .380 caliber shell casings as evidence and are proceeding with the formal complaint.
