Mother Consents to Welfare Care for Daughter After Influencer Dispute
Mae Da agreed to let social welfare officials temporarily care for her daughter Nong Fah Sai after a dispute with local influencers in Pattaya. She said her demand for 40 million baht was made in anger, reaffirmed her love for the child, and apologized to influencers who had assisted her. The case was discussed at a Chonburi shelter with police, provincial officials, and the Region 2 Attorney General's office present.
Mae Da, also known as Ton Oi Pen Neung and president of the Pen Neung Foundation, said she has four living children from two marriages and confirmed Nong Fah Sai is her biological daughter with a valid birth certificate. She explained that the conflict with influencers 'Sprite SPD' and 'Ung Aing' stemmed from her discomfort with social media life and Bangkok's restrictions, not personal or financial disputes. Although she initially planned to return to Pattaya alone, she stayed to support her daughter's YouTube ambitions until Nong Fah Sai expressed a desire to go home, prompting their joint return. Mae Da said she received 90,000 baht and 40,000 baht in support after separating from the influencers, totaling 130,000 baht, before moving back to Pattaya. She noted that while early stays with influencer 'Nung Tee' were comfortable, later she felt pressured to appear in content she disliked, such as a coconut‑tree clip that drew criticism. Revenue sharing from reviews and content was allegedly set at 20–30 percent, pending verification of contracts. She denied envy of her daughter's fame, saying she never wanted to enter social media, viewing it as a double‑edged sword that invites constant scrutiny. Mae Da admitted that a rock‑throwing incident involving foreign tourists occurred while she was exhausted and hungry after long work shifts, causing her to lose emotional control.
