On October 7, 2024, a 32-year-old pregnant woman with severe preeclampsia suffered a ruptured brain vessel and was declared brain dead. The medical team at Nakornping Hospital performed an emergency cesarean section, successfully saving the baby. Although they attempted brain surgery to stop the bleeding, the mother's brain injury was too severe and she passed away. Her family chose to make a final merit by donating her organs; both kidneys were transplanted, giving two other patients a chance at life. They described organ donation as an endless act of giving, a great merit, and a highest form of generosity, hoping her spirit would find peace knowing she had helped others as she intended.
