Thai immigration police raided a South Korean-run online gambling ring in a Sukhumvit condo, arresting over ten suspects and seizing laptops, phones and OTP devices. The operation exposed more than 1.5 million users and a monthly turnover exceeding 500 million baht. Authorities worked with Korean police to gather evidence and plan the suspects' deportation for prosecution in South Korea.
Immigration police cracked down on a hidden South Korean online gambling network operating from a luxury condo in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. Acting on orders from Immigration Bureau Lieutenant General Nopphasin Phunsawat, officers arrested the ringleader, operational commanders and more than ten associates, seizing numerous computers, mobile phones, OTP devices and hardware wallets. The investigation revealed that the gang ran the redbet and blackbet platforms, serving over 1.5 million users and moving more than 500 million baht each month. Police coordinated with South Korean authorities for joint evidence gathering; after the suspects are returned to Korea, Seoul will seek extradition to prosecute them there. The Immigration Bureau has cancelled the visas of the ten detained South Koreans and holds them pending deportation.
