Motorcyclist Dances at Red Light, Video Hits 6.6 Million Views

A motorcyclist stopping at a red light in Udon Thani and getting out to dance has captured nearly 7 million views, with the person who filmed it initially thinking he was retrieving something he had dropped. On August 22 at around 2 p.m., Facebook user Dahuan Mesing was returning to Udon Thani city with her boyfriend driving when they stopped at the red light at Nong Bua Market intersection. She noticed a man on a motorcycle stop in the motorcycle parking area ahead, and when he got out, she first thought he had dropped something and was picking it up. But instead, he started dancing in the middle of the intersection.

Dahuan said she was surprised to see someone dancing at a red light and decided to film it on her phone. She worried he might notice he was being recorded and be upset, but when someone gave him a thumbs up, he simply smiled without any sign of concern. When the light turned green, they continued driving normally.

Dahuan admitted she had never seen anything like this before and suspected many other road users in the area witnessed it since it happened during a red light wait. She was shocked by how much attention the video received, with over 6.6 million views at last count. When she first saw the man dancing at the intersection, she felt startled and worried about what might happen next, though nothing unusual occurred beyond the dancing itself.
