Motorcyclist Hit by 22-Wheel Truck After Road Rage Escalation
A factory worker on a motorcycle was struck and injured by a 22-wheel truck near Rayong after escalating road rage, repeatedly blocking the vehicle despite the driver's attempts to pass safely.
A motorcycle crash near Khao Kaew Temple on Soi 14 toward Highway 36 in Tamakaew, Nikhom Phatthana District, Rayong Province, was captured on dashcam at 10:00 a.m. on September 18, 2026. The footage showed a factory worker on a motorcycle repeatedly weaving left and right in front of a 22-wheel truck. The truck driver sounded his horn once to signal an overtaking maneuver, which angered the motorcyclist. The rider responded by driving aggressively—weaving back and forth, slowing near the truck's front, then accelerating away to block further passing attempts.
Although the truck driver remained calm and maintained distance, the motorcyclist refused to back down. After several minutes of this dangerous behavior, the rider slowed once more directly in front of the truck. This time, the truck clipped the motorcycle, causing it to flip and slide across the road. The motorcyclist suffered injuries to multiple parts of his body and lay crying in pain on the pavement.
Rescue workers from the Sawaiprok Kusol Foundation's Nikhom Phatthana unit arrived and transported the injured rider to Nikhom Phatthana Hospital. The truck driver handed over dashcam footage as evidence and said he would file a formal complaint with police and request justice.
