Muangthong United has resolved disputes with players and coaching staff and FIFA has lifted a ban preventing the club from registering new players. After eight complaints were filed with FIFA over labour disputes, the club faced a registration ban for the 2026-27 season. The club has now cleared all issues, and FIFA has removed Muangthong from its banned clubs list just before the Thai League registration deadline on September 16. New signings Jaroensak Wongkorn, Sterley Mamba, Pakorn Premmakid, Rivaldinho, and Chatchanipat Chanphong are expected to feature in the club's match against Chiang Mai United on September 19.
