The National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) and Border Patrol Police (BPP) are delivering sports facilities, equipment, and bicycles to Ban Tatum Border Patrol Police School in Sangkhla District, Surin Province as part of their collaborative "School of Knowledge, Hall of Hope" program. The initiative is designed to improve the quality of life for children and youth in border areas by creating access to sports and fitness activities while strengthening relationships between schools, border police, and local communities.
The third facility under the program will be inaugurated on July 11 at Ban Tatum Border Patrol Police School. High-ranking officials including Defense Ministry Minister Adul Buntharmejarun, Surin Governor Jamoen Wanphet, and Border Patrol Police Commander Rungrot Takurapunnanisiri will attend the ceremony.
Beyond the equipment donation, coach Prasert Dathong of the Surin Hin Khon women's football team will conduct sports clinics and training sessions alongside local Muay Thai instructors to motivate youth. The July 11 event will feature football, volleyball, and soft ball competitions starting at 9 a.m., with teams from four Border Patrol Police schools participating.
