Nevin Chidchob expressed his hope that Anutin Charnvirakul would continue serving as prime minister until he tires of the role, noting that two more terms would be sufficient. The comment came during Nevin’s 68th birthday festivities on October 4, 2069. Earlier, Anutin had participated via video link in a meeting of the National Disaster Prevention and Relief Command to oversee flood response and relief operations from Buriram’s provincial disaster office. He then traveled to Nevin’s birthday celebration at Chang Arena, where the annual large‑scale party and the family’s traditional elephant‑tying ceremony took place. After the ritual, Nevin placed a cord around Anutin’s wrist and offered his birthday blessing.
