At 5 p.m. on September 17, 2025, at Central Plaza Northville shopping mall in Muang District, Nonthaburi Governor Chetsada Mosikrattana, Deputy Governor Aphichai Aramsoree, Nonthaburi Election Commission Director Chuleeporn Chanybuapod, and Provincial Administrative Organization Election Director Nattapoom Nonsirikul held a final voter mobilization campaign ahead of the provincial administration election on September 20, 2025, which runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The campaign aims to encourage and mobilize eligible voters in Nonthaburi Province to cast their ballots in the provincial administration leader election. Voters will use pink-colored ballots and may mark only one candidate number.
Governor Chetsada stated that all 1,400 polling stations are 100% prepared with staff and equipment ready. The campaign has been promoted through mass media, written notices to all households, and coordination with various agencies. The shopping mall location was chosen because it draws large crowds, allowing youth to reach parents and community members to encourage maximum voter turnout on September 20.
The Governor noted that the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization is a large local government body with a budget of several billion baht, and its functions directly affect residents' quality of life and infrastructure. He invited all 1.07 million eligible voters to participate in determining the organization's future leadership.
Election Commission Director Chuleeporn stated that because the election falls during the rainy season, contingency plans have been prepared to address potential disruptions from thunderstorms and heavy rain. The Commission has coordinated with the Provincial Administrative Organization. In the previous election, about 41% of voters participated, but this time the Commission is targeting 45% turnout due to the urban population and high migrant numbers.
The Election Commission also announced that from 6 p.m. on September 19 until 6 p.m. on September 20, all businesses and service establishments must cease the sale and distribution of alcohol, as violations will result in penalties under election law.
