Oil Fund Raises Fuel Prices 0.75 Baht Per Litre
On 1 October 2025, Thailand’s Oil Fund Committee raised the retail price of all fuel types by 0.75 baht per litre due to ongoing Middle East tensions and rising global oil prices. The adjustment also revised subsidy levels for various diesel and gasoline blends, setting new retail prices ranging from about 31.6 to 49.7 baht per litre effective 2 October. The fund urged the public to conserve fuel to ease its liquidity strain and maintain long‑term price stability.
The committee increased the subsidy for regular fast‑flow diesel by 0.28 baht per litre to 4.07 baht, setting the retail price at 42.19 baht per litre; for B20 diesel the subsidy rose by 0.15 baht to 8.14 baht, giving a retail price of 37.19 baht per litre, while premium diesel carries a 1.50 baht charge. In the gasoline and gasohol group, benzene storage was reduced by 0.79 baht to 1.50 baht, making benzene retail 49.68 baht per litre; gasohol 95 saw its subsidy increase by 0.69 baht to 5.04 baht, retail 40.69 baht per litre; gasohol 91 likewise increased to 5.04 baht subsidy, retail 40.32 baht per litre; gasohol E20 subsidy rose by 0.59 baht to 8.03 baht, retail 35.69 baht per litre; and gasohol E85 subsidy rose by 0.01 baht to 2.58 baht, retail 31.63 baht per litre. The new rates take effect from 2 October 2025, and the fund urges all sectors to use fuel wisely to ease the burden and strengthen the fund’s resilience.
