On the 11th birthday of her twins Alin and Alan, Opal Panisara shared an emotional reflection through Instagram about the challenges her family faced 11 years ago. After spending nearly two months on strict bed rest at Rama Hospital, she gave birth to her twins at just 29 weeks gestation. Alin cried softly at birth while Alan did not cry at all, and both children were immediately taken to the NICU, where they remained for nearly two months before becoming strong enough for their parents to hold and bring home.
Opal wrote about the family's journey through life-and-death moments and difficult decisions over the past 11 years. She encouraged her children to be confident, reminding them that despite weighing less than one kilogram each as newborns, they survived and grew strong. She expressed her wish for them to grow with physical and emotional strength, to find happiness in every day, and assured them that their parents will always stand by their side as a united family.
