OR Reports 9.2% Revenue Growth, Invests in EV and Lifestyle
OR posted 9.2% revenue growth to 381.79 billion baht in the first half of 2025, while expanding its EV charging network and lifestyle segment despite lower EBITDA margins from energy market volatility.
OR reported first-half 2025 operating results with sales and service revenue of 381.79 billion baht, a 9.2% increase from the same period last year, as higher average fuel prices offset lower sales volumes amid Middle East tensions. EBITDA fell to 7.15 billion baht, down 35.2%, reflecting margin pressure in Mobility and Global divisions from energy market fluctuations and operational cost increases.
The Lifestyle segment remained a key growth driver, with Café Amazon achieving record sales of 117 million cups, up 4.5% from the previous quarter. The company expanded into food and beverage by partnering with Minor Food to operate brands including The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, The Steak & More, and Chiho Ramen at fuel stations and commercial areas.
OR continued investments in future business segments, including EV charging network expansion through EV Station PluZ, digital platform development, and logistics enhancement via Thai Pipeline Network (TPN). The company also increased use of recycled plastic in lubricant packaging, reducing new plastic consumption by approximately 1,800 tons annually. On sustainability, OR was selected for the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices Emerging Markets Index for the third consecutive year and received top sustainability scores from S&P Global within the retail sector, reflecting ESG-aligned operations.
