Pet Fair South East Asia 2026 has officially opened as the fifth edition of this international pet industry trade show and business matching event, running from October 28–30, 2026 at Halls 98–100 of the Bitec Bang Na exhibition and convention center in Bangkok. The event is co-organized by VNU Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. and Globus Events Limited to link manufacturers, exporters, brand owners, distributors, and buyers worldwide, while pushing Thailand toward becoming a central trading hub for the pet industry in Southeast Asia.
The opening ceremony took place at Pet Square in Hall 99, presided over by Surindra Soontrasenan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. Also in attendance were Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director of the International Exhibition Industry Division at the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB); Duangdet Yuyuandee, CEO of VNU Asia Pacific Co., Ltd.; David Chong, Founder and Chairman of Globus Events Limited / Pet Fair Asia Limited; as well as representatives from government agencies, trade associations, and entrepreneurs from various countries.
This year's fair gathers approximately 450 exhibitors from 35 countries, with around 70% coming from overseas, and aims to welcome more than 12,500 business visitors from over 80 countries across the three-day event, reflecting Thailand's role as a connector between producers and buyers in the global pet industry.
The exhibition covers products and services across the entire supply chain — from pet food, treats, and nutritional products to health and hygiene items, lifestyle accessories, manufacturing technology, machinery, packaging, and OEM and private label contract manufacturing services — enabling buyers to discover new products, negotiate deals, and build direct business partnerships with manufacturers and brand owners.
For Thai entrepreneurs, the fair serves as a crucial platform to showcase manufacturing capabilities, product standards, and innovations to international markets, particularly in the pet food sector, which has opportunities to move from contract manufacturing toward developing high-value brands and products.
Deputy Director-General Surindra Soontrasenan stated, "Thailand continues to reinforce its potential as one of the world's leading pet food exporters. In 2025, pet food exports exceeded $3.28 billion, growing 8.15% from the previous year, reflecting the competitiveness and global potential of Thai entrepreneurs in the pet industry. The Department of International Trade Promotion is committed to supporting Thai entrepreneurs, especially SMEs, to access foreign markets, utilize free trade agreements, and expand new trade opportunities. Pet Fair South East Asia 2026 plays a vital role as an international business platform connecting Thai producers and brands with buyers and partners worldwide, supporting the goal of driving Thailand to become a top exporter of dog and cat food."
