Phuket United Futsal Club has issued a public statement condemning inappropriate conduct by a fan of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, who struck a Phuket player on the head during a match. The incident took place in the MEA Futsal Thai League 2026 at Gymnasium 1 of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University on September 12. The assault occurred in the 15th minute of the first half during a collision between players from both teams, when a spectator threw a punch at the Phuket player's head before play resumed. Phetchaburi Rajabhat University defeated Phuket United 3-1.
