The victim, Ms. Chaleepan (name withheld), died at the scene. On August 4, the 43-year-old driver, Verachart (name withheld), turned himself in accompanied by his lawyer and insurance representatives. Investigators have charged him with reckless driving causing death and failing to stop and render assistance. A urine sample has been sent for drug testing, with results pending to support the case file.
