A 59-year-old motorcyclist died after his bike swerved to avoid another vehicle, lost control, flipped, and slid into traffic on August 3 at 8:57 p.m. on Khlong Khud Mai Road in Muang District, Chachoengsao Province. Police were called to a motorcycle collision with a fatality and injuries. At the scene, they found the body of Sumit, 59, lying face-down on the roadside with severe facial injuries and a broken neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The other injured motorcyclist sustained minor leg injuries.

Interviewed at the scene, Kravi, 38, said he was riding his motorcycle with his wife and child to buy food when he saw the victim's bike weaving and veering into his lane. He attempted to swerve to avoid it, but the victim's motorcycle grazed his exhaust pipe before flipping. The victim's body then slid across the pavement and struck a third motorcycle coming from behind. Yanantonissa, 21, the rider of the third motorcycle, stated she was heading out to transfer money when she saw the first bike overturn and the victim's body sliding toward her from a distance. The collision happened too suddenly for her to avoid it, and the body came to rest in front of her bike.

Police have documented the scene, photographed evidence, and interviewed both riders involved. They are reviewing CCTV footage in detail and will pursue further legal action.

Initial investigation revealed that a contractor had been hired to fell the large coconut tree in the adjacent property. However, a critical error in controlling the direction of the fall caused the tree to lose stability and crash violently into the neighboring rental home.

On August 3, 2025, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) released a fact-clarification document regarding the selection process for implementing partners in the "SME Promotion into E-Commerce and Live-Commerce Markets" and "Development and Building of Thailand's E-Commerce Ecosystem for Thai SMEs" projects. She had won a fifth-prize ticket before, so she messaged Paa Jing but received no reply, only a read receipt.

Paa Yom stated that despite the case now in court, she harbors no personal ill will toward Paa Jing, and they were once close friends who ate together and treated each other like sisters. She had publicly offered 200,000 baht if Paa Jing returned the ticket, a promise she posted online. Yet Paa Jing continues to maintain she did not win.

When asked if she would accept the prize money now, Paa Yom replied it is too late, and she insists the matter follow legal proceedings. She remains confident that she genuinely ordered ticket 184, despite the lack of written proof.

Montchai stated that the vehicles would be used to support health care services for residents across all areas. The organization is committed to upgrading the quality of services at sub-district health promotion hospitals by ensuring adequate staffing, equipment, tools, and transportation to reach the public quickly and comprehensively.
