On October 11, 2026, at 9:00 PM, officers from Nikhom Phatthana Police Station, together with Siam Rayong rescue volunteers and doctors from Nikhom Phatthana Hospital, responded to a report of an overturned pickup truck on Soi 2, Road 13, Nikhom Phatthana. At the scene they found the pickup lying on its side beside the road, with the driver—a man about 50 years old who was alone—pinned under the vehicle, unconscious and without a pulse. Rescuers and local residents worked to lift the truck and used a slide‑tow vehicle to secure the frame while extracting the driver. Emergency CPR was administered immediately, but the victim could not survive his injuries and died shortly thereafter. The sedan that was struck in the rear also sustained damage, and its driver suffered injuries; first‑aid was given before he was transported to Nikhom Phatthana Hospital. Investigators from Nikhom Phatthana Police Station have photographed the scene and gathered all available evidence. They will later conduct a detailed interview with the sedan driver to establish the exact cause of the crash and proceed with any legal actions.
