Poh Tek Tung Foundation Rushes Flood Relief Supplies to Victims

Volunteers and relief teams gathered in large numbers at the Poh Tek Tung Foundation’s "Uniting Forces to Compassionately Fight Floods" venue. The chairman quickly went to encourage them and directed them to continue delivering aid to flood victims. On October 5, 2026, the foundation, led by Chairman Wiset Tachaiphapan, Vice Chairman Wichit Chinwongwonkul, Committee Member and Secretary Sirikul Opaswong, and Committee Member and Treasurer Jarurat Khunatthanan, along with other board members, went to the site at Poh Tek Tung Foundation, Phlapphla Chai, Bangkok to boost morale for staff, volunteers, and activists who were assembling emergency relief bags containing essential items such as canned food, ready-to-eat rice, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, mosquito repellent, sanitary pads, wet wipes, dry wipes, LED flashlights with batteries, black garbage bags, and basic household medicine kits, packed in foundation cloth bags, totaling about 1,400 sets. They rushed to load them onto trucks and flat-bottom boats, also bringing dog and cat food for immediate distribution to affected areas such as Lad Krabang and Sai Mai. The foundation said it will continue monitoring the flood situation to assess and promptly provide further assistance. Those in need can contact the Poh Tek Tung hotline 1418, available 24 hours. The foundation thanked donors who contributed money and goods at the event, asking that the blessings of Luang Pho Taï Hong bring them happiness and prosperity, and invited further donations for flood relief via the hotline.
