Thai Shotgun Team Claims 3 Golds, Ranks Fifth at World Champs
Thailand's national shotgun team won three gold, four silver and two bronze medals at the 2026 Shotgun World Shoot in Greece, finishing fifth overall and becoming the only Asian side in the top ten. Individual gold medals went to Sirivarun Thongkam, Royjim Witthakkhomann and Nitakorn Pramayan. The United States led the medal table with ten golds.
The Thai Practical Shooting Association sent 26 male and female national shotgun athletes to the 2026 Shotgun World Shoot in Greece, held from September 20 to October 4, 2026, across 30 stages in various divisions. The Thai team performed excellently, winning three gold, four silver, and two bronze medals, placing fifth overall and becoming the only Asian team in the top ten of the medal table.
The three gold medals came from Sirivarun Thongkam in the Women’s Senior Standard Manual category, Royjim Witthakkhomann in the Women’s Senior Modified category, and Nitakorn Pramayan in the Women’s Senior Standard category.
Four silver medals were earned by V. Kannawet Pheukphum in the Men’s Junior Open category, Panicha Siriongtadetcha in the Women’s Junior Standard category, plus two team silvers: the Women’s Open team (Pimpamada Loetkrai, Printhon Jamrien, Kesarat Chaiya, Natnanchan Chantadet) and the Men’s Standard Manual team (Police Officer Pansa Ketkaew, Sankhachai Phat Ud Ommarat, Sirivud Dechsuvan, Wisnu Phuangljag).
The two bronze medals went to Naphol Namtaphee in the Men’s Super Junior Open category and Police Officer Pansa Ketkaew in the Men’s Standard Manual category.
The United States topped the medal table with ten gold, five silver, and four bronze, followed by Italy (7‑3‑4), Finland (6‑8‑4), and Poland (4‑6‑3). Teams from South Africa, Greece, Brazil, Ukraine, and Sweden also placed in the top ten.
