On September 14, 2026, Deputy Commander Theerdetcha Thammsudhee of Udomsuk Police Station, along with officers and community leaders, visited the Surhao Jrajeb community to inspect the National Strategic Sustainable Subdistrict Drug Suppression Programme. The team included representatives from Health Service Centers 22 and 57, social workers, and a clinical psychologist who reviewed the project's progress and conducted a field survey to assess CCTV cameras, high-risk areas, and community safety concerns.
During the visit, officials met with village committees and residents to gather feedback and provided supplies and encouragement to individuals in recovery. One community member shared that the programme had helped their child overcome addiction and return to work and family responsibility. The initiative focuses on mental health support and vocational development to sustain recovery.
Going forward, the task force will continue active follow-up with those in recovery and strengthen the community to achieve zero-drug status as part of government policy. The team is committed to creating a safe, drug-free community through sustained intervention and support services.
