Police Launch Operation Against Land Fraud Network in Hua Hin
Police raided a land fraud network in Hua Hin, arresting over 45 suspects and seizing assets valued at approximately 300 million baht in a coordinated operation involving more than 200 officers.
On August 10, 2569, National Police Office Commander Pol. Gen. Nopsil Poolswat launched Operation Fa Sang, mobilizing over 200 officers from Prachuap Khiri Khan provincial police, immigration police, metropolitan police, and Region 7 investigation units to conduct raids in Hua Hin. The operation targeted more than 45 individuals, both foreign nationals and Thai citizens, with arrest and search warrants related to an illegal land seizure network valued at approximately 300 million baht. The operation was led by Pol. Col. Khamchawin Purathanon, Deputy Commander of Region 7, Pol. Col. Athon Chintong, Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Police Commander, and Pol. Maj. Kampanart Na Vicha, Hua Hin Police Station Commander. Deputy National Police Commissioner Samran Nualma was expected to provide an official statement on the operation later that day, detailing the land fraud cases involving dozens of suspects and announcing the seizure of approximately 160 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
