Rattanathibet Police are requesting residents who parked vehicles along Ngamwongwan Road and the Phongphet overpass to move them out, as the station prepares to reopen the road to normal traffic once floodwaters recede on September 30. On September 29, Deputy Police Commander Pruet Jamrunsasart of Rattanathibet Police Station in Nonthaburi stated that after several consecutive days of heavy rain caused severe flooding along Ngamwongwan Road near The Mall shopping center on both sides, affected residents parked vehicles on the Phongphet overpass and roadside to escape the water. With water levels now dropping, police are calling on vehicle owners to relocate their cars from the road. Rattanathibet Police Station will reopen Ngamwongwan Road to normal traffic from September 30 onward during regular business hours. For residents still unable to return home due to flooding, vehicles can be temporarily parked at The Mall Ngamwongwan, which has prepared designated parking areas. The same day, Nonthaburi Highway Division Deputy Director Sophon Sangpan led cleanup operations to remove debris from the Phongphet overpass through to the Bangkok boundary following the flood recession, readying the route for public use.
