Police Raid Eight Entertainment Venues, Find No Violations
Wang Thonglang Police inspected eight entertainment venues on September 13 and found no violations, with all 57 drug tests on patrons coming back negative.
Wang Thonglang Police launched a social order enforcement operation on September 13, conducting a sweep of service establishments in their jurisdiction. Led by Pol. Col. Jessada Yangnok, the station commander, alongside deputies Pol. Lt. Pueai Manmeung, Pol. Lt. Somchai Kongkhannont, Pol. Lt. Theerapat Klaichai, and Pol. Lt. Jetsadanai Jaidee, the operation deployed three task forces across three zones. These forces worked with rapid-response units, inspection teams, investigation branches, and SWAT teams from Region 4 Police to inspect eight well-known entertainment venues: Prim Club, The Galaxy Club, Saeng Chan, Venita, All In, IYKYK, Dote, and 69 Infinity.
Officers focused on document verification for both patrons and staff, searches for weapons and illegal items, and monitoring for human trafficking and prostitution. Operators were reminded of strict legal compliance, including age restrictions for those under 20, sound level controls, opening and closing hours, and alcohol service regulations, as well as preventing drug use and indecent acts within the establishments.
Inspections of all eight venues revealed no business violations. Officers conducted random urine tests on 57 patrons to screen for drug use, with all samples testing negative. Wang Thonglang Police stated they will continue stepped-up enforcement measures and ongoing inspections to ensure public safety in the area.
