Police Trainee Dies After Collapsing at Duty
A 27-year-old police trainee collapsed and died while on duty at a station in Phatthalung province; authorities are conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Phatthalung — A tragic incident occurred at Khuan Khunun Police Station in Phatthalung province when Chaiyawat Sueathep, a 27-year-old police cadet trainee from Chachoengsao district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness while sitting in a chair during administrative duty training in the station's administrative office. Officers at the scene immediately provided first aid and quickly transported him to Khuan Khunun Hospital. Doctors made full efforts to save his life through chest compressions and emergency resuscitation procedures, but were unable to revive him before he died shortly thereafter.
The incident has caused profound grief and sorrow among his classmates, supervisors, and all police personnel working at the station. Investigators are in close coordination with his family and the medical examiner to investigate the true cause of death and formally confirm autopsy findings as official documentation of his death, before his remains are released to the family for funeral rites.
