Girlfriend Reports Boyfriend Missing After Cycling Trip
A 46-year-old man went missing in Nonthaburi Province after leaving for a cycling trip early August 6 without his phone, prompting his girlfriend to file a missing person report when he failed to return.
Nonthaburi — Ms. Walaipun Srinaphaphan, 42, the girlfriend of Thamman Tae Phanthip (also known as Tewit Tae Phanthip or Tae Drangonfive), 46, filed a report with Bang Kruai Police in Nonthaburi Province on August 6. She stated that her boyfriend left their home with his bicycle at approximately 4 a.m., wearing cycling clothes and a black backpack. He departed toward Bang Kruai Power Plant without carrying his mobile phone.
When he failed to return home and could not be reached, she grew concerned for his safety and reported him missing to police. In a follow-up call with reporters, Walaipun explained that her boyfriend's disappearance was highly unusual. Normally, whenever he goes cycling, he always carries his phone and returns home immediately afterward. She contacted close friends but none had seen him. Worried he may have been hurt, she decided to file the missing person report and asked police to search for him.
