Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister Chat Chai Bangchuad said officials are standing by at Government House to receive a protest led by Kamnan Mano Khreuakaew from Krabi, scheduled for November 7. The demonstrators plan to demand solutions to high fuel prices and the rising cost of living. Chat Chai stated the government's complaint center will analyze any petitions before forwarding them to relevant agencies, and expressed confidence the rally will be peaceful, noting protesters have likely sought police permission. A 24-hour hotline, 1111, is also available for public grievances. Speaking at Government House on November 6, Chat Chai said authorities must assess the protesters' intentions; if they come to petition, the government is ready to listen. He added that the protest leader has not yet coordinated directly with his office, which is working alongside police, and that the Prime Minister has not issued any special directives beyond standard procedures.
