Queen Opens 2025 Thai Women's Day Celebration

Her Majesty the Queen presided over the opening of the 2025 Thai Women's Day event under the theme "The Queen Mother of the Land, Residing in the Divine Palace: Thai Women's Commitment to Advancing National Art," held on August 1, 2025 at 4:22 p.m. at Impact Muang Thong Thani in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province. Senior government officials including Social Development Minister Nikhom Somklang, Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaisechard, and other dignitaries were present to receive Her Majesty.
The event featured awards ceremonies recognizing outstanding Thai women and youth for 2025, commemorative pins, and certificates of honor. Representatives from international women's councils and distinguished Thai women were presented before Her Majesty. The National Women's Association also presented tributes honoring the Queen's birthday celebrations scheduled for June 3, 2025.
Her Majesty lit a ceremonial candle to officially open the event and delivered remarks. She then visited exhibition areas showcasing the National Women's Association's work on the international stage, displays of outstanding women and youth honorees, and Thai silk products from all four regions. The exhibitions also featured women's products under the "One Tambon One Product" initiative, displays from the Social Development Ministry, and vendor stalls featuring various women's products.
