Thailand's national team, under English coach Anthony Hudson, has made just one change to the starting eleven from their victory over Laos, with young defender Ussamma Thiang Kam starting at left back. In the 2026 AFF Hyundai Cup Group B match on August 1, Thailand will face Malaysia at Rajamangala Stadium. Thailand won their opener 5-0 against Laos, while Malaysia has already played two matches, narrowly beating Myanmar 2-1 and demolishing Laos 4-0 to earn six points.
