Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden Launches Scent-Themed Heritage Trail

Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden is inviting people to retrace history through the "Scent of Queen Sirikit Botanical Trails" event under the "Following Royal Footsteps: The Thousand-Year Queen" project, honoring the late Queen Sirikit and offering a five-sensory botanical tourism experience. The event is a collaboration between the Royal Plant Development Center and tourism partners including hotels, spas, and businesses, centered on three signature fragrances under the BotaniGar brand: Green Misty capturing forest and waterfall essences; Golden Bloom combining golden shower flowers with water and forest scents; and After Glow evoking earth, pine, and twilight memories.

Inspired by the Queen's nine visits to the botanical garden, the event engages all five senses. Visitors will enjoy Thai silk fashion shows and historical exhibitions, sample three signature botanical fragrances, listen to live string music, taste botanical welcome drinks and three signature mocktails, visit a research-focused Scent Lab showroom, and ride an electric train through the gardens. The event takes place Sunday, September 27, 2025, at the Visitor Center of Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai.
