A Ratchaburi lottery player won 48 million baht after holding all eight first-prize tickets in the August 1 government draw, discovering their massive win while waiting at their child's dental appointment.
At 4:00 PM on August 1, 2026, the Lottery Plus announced the results of the government lottery draw for that date. The first prize was ticket number 932479, while the three-digit front prizes were 413 and 672, the three-digit back prizes were 154 and 039, and the two-digit back prize was 69.
Comedian Note Chernyim was invited as a special guest to announce the winning numbers, accompanied by a cute mascot mascot dancing to celebrate the draw.
After announcing all prizes, Lottery Plus staff quickly retrieved all eight first-prize winning tickets from the safe, displaying 48 million baht in winnings on live broadcast, taking just under two minutes. Note Panthawaas Nakvisuthi, the Lottery Plus representative, then called the winner to congratulate them.
The lucky winner is from Ratchaburi province and won all eight first-prize tickets, receiving 48 million baht total. When Note called, the winner initially didn't recognize the voice and was busy waiting at their child's dental appointment. After discussing for a moment, the winner realized it was Note. When asked how many tickets they hoped to win, the winner said they wanted ten tickets, but Note informed them they had won eight instead, worth 48 million baht. The delighted winner is now waiting for Lottery Plus to deliver the prize money to Ratchaburi province. Note also reminded lottery players to play responsibly and within their means, adding that if this draw isn't lucky, they can try again next time.
