Ratchaburi Woman Wins 6 Million Baht Lottery Prize
A Ratchaburi woman won 6 million baht in the Lottery Plus first prize after jokingly waving at the lottery vehicle weeks earlier, only her second time playing.
A Ratchaburi woman has won the Lottery Plus first prize of 6 million baht. Two weeks earlier, she had seen the Lottery Plus vehicle pass in front of her home and playfully waved at it, saying "Please bring the next draw to our house." On September 2, after the government lottery results were announced for the September 1 draw, ticket number 417212 was declared the first prize winner. The lucky winner, known as Noi, received her full 6 million baht prize when Lottery Plus representatives, including Jack the Ghost and Ta Fedfe, personally delivered the money to her home in Ratchaburi.
When Lottery Plus called to inform her of the win, Noi was working and initially thought it was a call center. She admitted feeling shocked and disbelieving, saying "I couldn't believe it was really us." She purchased a Lottery Plus ticket for only the second time in this draw and won immediately. With her winnings, she plans to build a new house for her parents, pay off debts, and save money for her children.
