Rising Star Nunew Charuwarin Becomes Thailand's Leading Artist
Thai actor and singer Nunew Charuwarin, who broke through with the 2022 series "Cutie Pie," has become one of Thailand's top entertainers and is now expanding internationally with releases in Japan and South Korea.
Get to know Nunew Charuwarin, dubbed the "Pearl of Asia," as he rises from emerging actor to one of Thailand's top entertainers. Nunew Charuwarin Perisphiryavong, a talented singer and actor from Domundi agency, is a nominee for the "Most Popular Artist" award at the FEED x KHAOSOD AWARDS 2026, known by the nicknames "Son of the Nation" and "Pearl of Asia."
Born on July 25, 2001, Nunew graduated from Bangkok Patana School and earned his bachelor's degree in Chinese language from Kasetsart University's Faculty of Humanities in 2022 with first-class honors. His path into entertainment began unexpectedly when a former personal manager contacted him on Facebook and invited him to appear in a television series. Although that project never came to fruition, the manager recognized his potential and introduced him to Option Kittipat Champa, who brought him into Domundi as a second-generation member, officially debuting in January 2021.
Nunew launched his full acting career in 2022 with the series "Cutie Pie," playing the role of Moo Gueua alongside See Pruk Panich. This breakout role introduced him to a wide audience and earned him a devoted fanbase, followed by numerous acting projects. Beyond acting, Nunew possesses exceptional singing talent. His passion for music, combined with his distinctive sweet and soft voice, has led him to regularly release cover songs of various artists and genres in multiple languages through Domundi TV and DMD Music channels.
He also performed several songs for "Cutie Pie," including "The Cute Guy," "How You Feel," "Let Me Be Yours," "Will You Still Love Me," and "Darling." His popularity grew significantly after performing "True Love" for the drama "Khun Chai" on Channel One 31, which received strong public response. Driven by his passion for music and determination to pursue his dreams, Nunew formally launched his career as a recording artist with his debut single "Anything" on July 6, 2023, featuring acclaimed composer and producer Aim Achiriya Duangpaipool.
Since then, Nunew has continuously released music including "Eh!," "Unforgettable," "Magic Moment," "Your Season," "First Date at Shibuya," "Be My Baby (This Christmas)," "Forever," "Heartquake," and "Still," along with his latest work "Kata" in collaboration with Bowkylion, reflecting his artistic growth and increasingly clear musical identity.
Beyond Thailand, Nunew has steadily expanded his music career internationally. In November 2024, he officially debuted in Japan with the Japanese-language song "First Date at Shibuya" (渋谷のBARで初めてのデイト). He subsequently debuted in South Korea in 2025 with the single "Leave Me with Your Love," released on September 30, 2025, in collaboration with El Capitxn and his music team.
