The Seven Book Award celebrated its 23rd anniversary by announcing the 2025 winners across seven categories of Thai literature. The program honored five primary award-winning works: "Ciel the Cat's Warm Sky" illustrated by Nalinrat Upatisrung and written by Pathomporn Aksornrung in the comic category; "Charm at the Cape" by Khing Chahat in fiction; "A Different River Builds a Bridge" by Wisit Priyananth in poetry; "If Tears Became a Fish" by Naruephan Sudsawat in short story collections; and "Southern Border: Siam's Special Zone" by Viratchit Chansaengaeng in nonfiction. Over its 23-year history, the Seven Book Award has recognized distinguished works across seven literary categories, celebrating creative authors whose works inspire and benefit society while promoting reading as a foundation for youth development. The 2025 competition received 314 submissions, from which 24 award-winning works and 5 recommended titles were selected by a panel of expert judges.
