When unexpected disasters strike, a major brand's strength is proven through swift crisis management and solid backup plans.

Sri Nana Por Marketing Public Company Limited (SNNP), Thailand's leading snack and beverage producer, quickly controlled a fire at its warehouse and chicken snack production facility in the Buddhamonthon Sai 5 area on September 7. No injuries or deaths occurred, and there was no impact on surrounding communities.

The impact was limited because the fire affected only the Lotus-brand chicken snack production and storage area. The main production lines for Jele jelly beverages and Bento snacks—which account for 70% of company revenue—are located elsewhere and were completely unaffected, allowing most business operations and distribution to run smoothly.

SNNP confirmed that the fire will not disrupt product sales. The company maintains sufficient inventory to cover approximately one month of distribution and has production management plans to meet market demand continuously. Production capacity can be increased from SNNP's Vietnam factory, and external manufacturers (OEM partners) are ready to ensure product availability remains continuous.

The company asked consumers, business partners, and business allies to be confident that SNNP products will continue to be distributed throughout Thailand. The company is closely managing its supply chain to ensure products reach consumers normally.

Meanwhile, SNNP is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate the fire's cause and conduct a detailed damage assessment. The company holds insurance covering property and product damage, with coverage preliminarily sufficient to cover all losses incurred.

This crisis reflects SNNP's preparedness to handle difficult situations comprehensively, prioritizing employee and community safety while maintaining business continuity. It reinforces the company's commitment to building consumer and partner confidence nationwide and delivering quality products to Thai consumers.
