Social Security Member Denied Vote Despite Prior Registration
A social security contributor named Preecha was denied the right to vote in the social security election despite having pre-registered and making monthly contributions. Officials claimed his insured status had ended in the system, leaving him without assistance or clarification. He has called on the new social security board to manage members' funds properly and has pledged to seek clarification from the Social Security Office.
Preecha, a Section 33 insured person, said he had registered in advance the previous month and continued to make regular social security payments, with the latest payment recorded in September. At the polling station, staff informed him he was not eligible because the system indicated he had ceased to be an insured participant. They merely told him his chance to vote in this election was over, offering no help or advice on how to proceed. As a result, his trip was wasted, and he plans to investigate the matter directly with the Social Security Office to understand why his rights were revoked.
