King Mongkut's University Team Wins Sriracha Hackathon 2026

On September 11, 2025, the School of Business Administration team from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) Rayong campus, competing as SourcePeak, claimed first prize in the Sriracha Hackathon 2026 competition under the theme "AI & Digital Green Innovation for Sustainable Future." The team presented their project on "Smart Green Living & Sustainable Community," one of several initiatives designed to showcase the capabilities of university students across Thailand in developing innovations and digital concepts that address future sustainability challenges. The hackathon was organized by Kasetsart University's Sriracha campus alongside leading public and private partners including ZETTA SOFT, the Business Incubation Centre (KUBIC), the Digital Advancement Taskforce (DAT), the Digital Economy Promotion Office (depa), and Thai Oil Public Company, held at Building 13 of the Physical Education facility at Kasetsart University Sriracha campus.

The SourcePeak team comprised Phinyaphat Rattanakulsiriwong, Siwaporn Sirisak, Pattanareeporn Raireung, Pawaris Chimpale, and Rungrat Tamaile. Team advisors included Sasawat Kanphai, Associate Professor Doctor Ketsuda Petchdee, Doctor Chanaphon Liiangnoi, Associate Professor Doctor Nattaka Sewatnorakhul, and Associate Professor Doctor Pansawadee Pongsiri. This achievement demonstrates the potential of today's students to apply AI technology and digital innovation to address environmental challenges and improve community quality of life sustainably.
