Silpakorn University Demonstration School (Preschool and Primary) issued a statement on July 12, 2025, outlining its response to allegations of staff misconduct that circulated on social media. The school expressed regret and concern for all affected parties—students, parents, and staff—reaffirming that student safety, welfare, and trust are its highest priority.
The school confirmed it learned of the incident on July 9 and immediately suspended the accused staff member, prohibiting them from entering school grounds. It has initiated formal disciplinary procedures leading to dismissal and is coordinating with the Teachers' Council to revoke the employee's teaching license on grounds of professional misconduct. The school pledged to pursue all applicable penalties and cooperate fully with legal proceedings without any leniency or protection for the offender.
On July 10, the school held a staff meeting to verify facts and monitor developments according to principles of diligence, transparency, and fairness. The school also met with parent-teacher representatives to discuss the situation and implement protective measures, including assigning counselors to work with psychologists to support affected students, monitoring the mental health of all students, reviewing staff conduct procedures, and expanding communication channels between administration, teachers, parents, and students.
The school emphasized that it had received no prior complaints or reports of such misconduct before this incident and committed to handling all steps with accountability, transparency, and the best interests of students at the forefront.
