The 29-year-old was thrown over 20 meters but suffered no fractures, only head trauma. In a lengthy social media post, Suriyant thanked supporters for their concern and messages during his recovery. He confirmed he is under medical care and in stable condition overall, and asked everyone not to worry about him.
Suriyant publicly apologized to his scheduled opponent Saw Min Min and the ONE Lumpinee promotion team for being unable to fight on Friday, August 21, as planned due to the accident.
