Thai Film 'Inherit' Premieres at Toronto Festival As Audition Launches
Thai horror film 'Inherit' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival with director Tong Buncong and actress Mai Davika walking the red carpet. GDH and TOFU Films announced that the horror film 'Inherit' will have its world premiere at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival in 2026, with director Tong Buncong and lead actress Mai Davika walking the red carpet. The film is set to continue to the BFI London Film Festival, Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in Catalonia, and Busan International Film Festival later that year, before opening in Thai cinemas on 19 November. Meanwhile, music label G&LDH opened the 'G&LDH Bangkok Audition 2026' under the Adam & Eve theme, seeking male and female vocalists, dancers or rappers aged 14‑18 of any nationality for international artist training. In other news, Japanese band Mrs. GREEN APPLE released their sixth full album 'POPS', featuring the track 'Kyohan', while Thai molam singer Mon Khuen Kaenkun and fans funded a parking shelter and rest pavilion for a mobile medical unit at Maharaj Yunaphak Hospital in Yasothon Province.
