Rangsrit Luksitanon, president of the Thai Golf Association, visited the Thai national golf team's training camp to encourage both male and female golfers preparing for the Southeast Asian Amateur Golf Team Championships 2026, held September 15-18 in Hong Kong. Rangsrit stated that the championship is a significant stage for amateur golf in Asia, and Thailand aims to perform at its best across all four divisions: Putra Cup, Santi Cup, Cartini Cup, and Lion Cup, with a particular focus on defending the Santi Cup title. The camp included professional golfer Bhumi Saksanashilp, who is preparing for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, alongside senior professionals such as Pom Petchpol, Mex, and Jet, who provided guidance and shared their experience with younger team members on preparation, competition mindset, and handling various on-course situations. The Thai golf team is scheduled to depart for Hong Kong on September 13, ahead of the Southeast Asian Amateur Golf Team Championships 2026 on September 15-18, with the goal of achieving the best possible results across all four competition categories.
