Thai Pork Prices Rise 2 Baht Per Kilogram
Pig farming associations across Thailand raised farm-gate pork prices by 2 baht per kilogram starting July 29, citing rising production costs and market conditions.
A network of pig farming associations comprising the National Swine Raisers Association, the Northeastern Swine Raisers Association, the Upper Central Commercial Swine Raisers Association, the Southern Swine Traders Association, and the Chonburi Swine Raisers Cooperative has announced a 2-baht-per-kilogram increase in farm-gate pork prices, effective July 29, 2025, reflecting rising production costs and market trends.
The price adjustment follows previous rates announced on July 22, 2025, which varied by region: Western region 66–68 baht/kilogram, Eastern region 68–71 baht/kilogram, Northeastern region up 2 baht from the previous base, Northern region 72 baht/kilogram, and Southern region 74 baht/kilogram.
This price increase reflects the ongoing improvement in farm-gate pork prices and will take effect from July 29, 2025 onward.
