Thai Rider Targets Top Five in Motegi Debut
Thai rider Pacharakon Thongkeadluang is making his debut at Mobility Resort Motegi in Japan, aiming for a top-five finish in the third round of the 2026 Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup. After Friday practice he ranked 13th, just over two seconds behind the leader, but said he is improving and adapting to the challenging circuit. He hopes to score points in both races and thanked Thai fans for their support.
Pacharakon Thongkeadluang, a rising Thai rider with EEST NJT Racing Team, said competing at Motegi for the first time is a tough challenge, especially adapting to the circuit’s steep elevation changes, heavy braking, and blind corners. After the second practice session he was 13th, 2.172 seconds off the pace, but felt better than the morning run. He hopes to finish in the top five in both races and asked Thai fans for support. The Idemitsu Moto4 Asia Cup 2026 round three will hold qualifying on Saturday, October 3, with the first race at 14:25 ICT and the second race on Sunday, October 4 at 06:45 ICT.
