Thai University Partners with Carbon Eco Solutions on ESG
King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi partnered with Carbon Eco Solution to develop workforce capacity in ESG management and prepare Thailand for a low-carbon economy through a three-year cooperation agreement signed September 3.
King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi has signed an academic cooperation memorandum with Carbon Eco Solution Co., Ltd., aiming to develop workforce capacity, enhance ESG management, and prepare the nation for a low-carbon economy. The agreement was signed on September 3, 2026, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchaon Thongjab, director of the university's Industrial Technology Development Office, and Lt. Col. Dr. Sanon Boonmee, co-founder and chairman of Carbon Eco Solution Co., Ltd., with the university's council president Sathit Bunnusophon presiding.
The three-year cooperation agreement, effective immediately, focuses on practical knowledge transfer, research and development, professional training programs, and information database development to build capacity among government, private sector, and public personnel to address climate change effectively. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchaon Thongjab noted that the partnership combines the university's innovation and academic strengths with the company's real business experience to deliver actionable results, enhance Thai industry's competitiveness, and advance the country toward a low-carbon economy following sustainable ESG principles.
