Thai Water Sports Chief Travels to Japan to Support Asian Games Athletes
Thai Water Sports Association leader Thammanat Prommaphaew traveled to Japan to support Thai athletes competing in the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, delivering gifts and meeting with team representatives to boost morale.
Thammanat Prommaphaew, president of the Thai Water Sports Association, has travelled to Japan to cheer on and encourage Thai national water sports athletes competing in the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026, based in Tokyo. Secretary-General Thanawit Tossakul revealed that Thammanat visited the swimming team closely and brought gifts to boost morale and strengthen team spirit. Thammanat also met with representatives of the Water Sports Federation to discuss cooperation and issues affecting the water sports sector. A separate management committee led by Deputy President Thanon Saengnark travelled to Nagoya to support the Thai women's water polo team competing in the Asian Games 2026. Thanawit noted he was assigned to attend a Water Sports Federation meeting in Japan during the Asian Games and carried out his duties while coordinating support for Thailand's national teams. The Thai diving team and men's water polo team have already arrived in Nagoya to prepare for the Asian Games.
