TSCC Autumn 2026 Closes with Celebrity Card Breaks
Thailand's largest collectibles convention wrapped a two-day run at CentralwOrld Pulse with celebrity-led card breaks and rare pulls, drawing over 200 vendors and collectors seeking vintage Pokemon, FIFA, and Dragon Ball cards worth million
The Thailand Specialty Collectibles Convention Autumn 2026 closed beautifully after running for two full days at CentralwOrld Pulse, buzzing with activity throughout. The event brought together over 200 card shops, entertaining live break sessions, and streams of smiling collectors who came to participate.
The convention was packed with card trading booths and multiple trading platforms. The auction booth partnering with the ALT platform was particularly well-received, while Thai artist booths offering custom artwork and embellishments for cards also drew crowds. Fans eagerly brought cards to artists for personalized designs, with some collectors waiting in long queues to have their cards decorated.
The convention also showcased a rare Pokemon Gold Star Torchic card from the EX Team Rocket Returns set (2004) #108/109, valued at over 90 million baht based on actual market transactions.
The main highlight was the live break sessions. Each time a pack was opened, fans held their breath in anticipation. Every card revealed was not just a beautiful image on screen—it was real, tangible, tradeable merchandise.
On the opening day, prominent personality Mario Mauer led fans through thrilling breaks of Pokemon Pitch Black and 30th Celebration packs. Though not all cards pulled were rare, the excitement remained high. Some fans had flown in from abroad to cheer at the booth, prompting Mario to give away special signed Pikachu cards as thanks.
Influencer Ta Fedfe opened FIFA card packs with the goal of pulling a Liverpool player card—and succeeded. The pull of an Ansu Fati signed card created an uproar at the booth. Per Suwikrom surprised everyone by opening packs for the first time ever in her life. Typically a buyer rather than a breaker, she immediately pulled a One of One card—a unique prototype card existing only once in the world—stunning the entire booth.
The most memorable moment came when veteran voice actress Na Toy Sambe pulled a Dragon Ball Son Goku Kamehameha Wave card as the final pull of her session. She shared stories about nearly missing the opportunity to voice the Thai dub of Dragon Ball, tracing back to her legendary work on "The Tiger's Mask," a groundbreaking series from over a decade ago that later returned to air in Thailand and became foundational to the Thai voice acting industry. Na Toy broke cards while entertaining the crowd with these stories before warmly signing cards for fans.
"This event wasn't just a trading platform," organizers reflected. "Real money circulated through the collectible card industry over these two days, and most importantly, we saw everyone become children again, reconnecting with the joy they felt as kids through their beloved collectibles. Thank you to all the collectors and fans who joined us these past two days."
