Thai YouTuber Hulun Solo's Body Returning to Thailand
Thai YouTuber Hulun Solo's body arrives in Thailand on August 6 after his death in Georgia, with authorities still investigating the circumstances and cause of death.
At a government house press briefing on August 5, Deputy Prime Minister Sihasak Phuangketkhiao provided updates on the repatriation of Bawornthad Pengsouk, a Thai travel YouTuber known as Hulun Solo, who died in Georgia. The body will arrive in Thailand on August 6 at 5:15 a.m. after the Foreign Ministry coordinated with Georgian authorities. Upon arrival, the family will determine further procedures, with an initial autopsy planned. Sihasak stated that Georgian authorities are still conducting investigations and reviewing evidence, which is why Hulun Solo's belongings have been retained. When asked if Thailand's Foreign Ministry had raised any concerns, Sihasak said they requested Georgia conduct a thorough investigation. Regarding the cause of death, Sihasak declined to comment at this time, saying it was premature to disclose details before consulting with the family and learning the results of the examination. No official conclusion on the cause of death has been reached.
