Four months after YouTuber Hlun Solo's death in Georgia, his family still awaits the return of his belongings and
Hlun Solo's brother says nearly four months later, belongings still not returned; Georgia says investigation ongoing. The grandmother grieves waiting for grandson's items, saying each piece holds meaning and connects to memories of a loved one. The family hopes for clear progress and thanks everyone for support.
On November 6, 2026, Mos, the brother of famous YouTuber "Hlun Solo" who died in Georgia on July 14, posted an update on Facebook page "Klose Mos" regarding the case. He said he had directly inquired with the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara about the case status and timeline, but there has been no progress on the case format and no clear timeline.
For over four months since his brother's passing, the family has continuously followed up with relevant agencies on the investigation and cause of death to learn the truth. Most recently, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, he contacted the embassy again regarding the investigation progress, the conclusion of the cause of death, and the return of personal belongings still in Georgia.
According to the information received, Georgian authorities are compiling all data and evidence to conclude the cause of death and conduct a thorough investigation. They have not set a clear timeframe because the processes take time and must be done with utmost care.
The personal belongings are currently in the custody of Georgian police, who said they will be returned once the investigation is complete. The items will be sent via the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Royal Thai Embassy for officials to retrieve.
Throughout this time, one concern weighing on the family as much as the case progress is the unreturned personal belongings, especially for the elderly grandmother. She constantly thinks of and worries about her grandson; some days she cannot eat, some days she cannot sleep, and she sometimes cries secretly because she is still waiting for his belongings from abroad.
To some, these may be just ordinary personal items, but to the family and grandmother, every piece has meaning because they still connect to the memories of the person we love. We only want the belongings returned so the family can keep them as mementos.
We understand that international legal and investigative processes take time, and we do not want to rush necessary steps. But after more than four months, the family earnestly hopes for clearer progress and continuous attention to this matter.
The family only wants to officially know the truth about the cause of death and to have the personal belongings returned.
I will continue to follow up continuously, and if any additional official information or conclusions are received, I will inform everyone. Thank you to everyone who still cares, encourages us, and has not forgotten my brother.
