Thailand Names 27 Players for U-17 Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers
Thailand has named 27 players for the U-17 women's national team preparing for AFC qualifiers in Chonburi this October, with the top group finishers advancing to the 2026 Asian Cup in China.
The Football Association of Thailand has announced 27 players for the Thailand U-17 women's national team to train and prepare for the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup China 2027 Qualifiers, scheduled for October 5-11, 2025 at Chonburi Stadium under head coach Thidarat Wivasukhu. Thailand will compete in Group F with Lebanon, Macau, and Bhutan, with the eight group champions advancing to the final tournament in China from March 31 – April 17, 2026. The top four Asian teams from the finals will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2027 in Morocco.
The 27-player squad includes goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards drawn from academies and provincial sports schools across Thailand, with one player from Meriden School in Australia. Players are scheduled to report to Dynamic Football Camp in Samut Prakan on September 19, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. for training until October 3, 2025, after which 23 players will be selected for the final tournament in Chonburi.
Thailand's match schedule is as follows: October 5 vs. Bhutan (7:00 p.m.), October 8 vs. Macau (7:00 p.m.), and October 11 vs. Lebanon (7:00 p.m.), all at Chonburi Stadium. Broadcast arrangements will be announced later.
